We offer American Red Cross AND American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider Course. This course covers 1 and 2 person CPR for adults, children and infants, choking, use of a bag-valve mask, and use of an AED.

ABOUT THIS COURSE: This comprehensive course covers Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. Participants will learn how to respond to a persons needing advanced healthcare support for heart attacks, cardiac arrest, choking emergencies, stroke, and more!

ABOUT THIS COURSE: This is a review course for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers who have taken the course within the last two years. Participants will review the components for responding to persons needing advanced healthcare support for heart attacks, cardiac arrest, choking emergencies, stroke, and more!

Participants are expected to come to the session prepared by reviewing their participant's manual/eBook and prepare to demonstrate their skills with little coaching. Here are the skills you will be required to perform: Adult & Infant. Here is a link for videos that may help you study/prepare for the course on the AHA website.

ABOUT THIS COURSE: This course reviews Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers and combines the American Red Cross First Aid Blended-Learning course. During the BLS review course participants will learn how to respond to a persons needing advanced healthcare support for heart attacks, cardiac arrest, choking emergencies, stroke, and more! Participants are expected to come prepared to perform the necessary skills with little coaching.

Participants will be required to complete the American Red Cross First Aid Blended-Learning Course (the link will be sent once the participant schedules a course). This course combines online videos with classroom skills evaluation. Participants will receive an eCard valid for 2 years. The participant will be required to send the course completion certificate prior to the skills check session.

​RUN-TIME: 1.5-3 hours

NOTE: Participants are REQUIRED to send a photo copy of their current certification PRIOR to the course. Additionally, the online completion must also be sent prior the First Aid skills check session.

ABOUT THIS COURSE: This course combines AHA BLS with ASHI First Aid. The BLS course covers Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. Participants will learn how to respond to a persons needing advanced healthcare support for heart attacks, cardiac arrest, choking emergencies, stroke, and more! The second portion of the course includes ASHI First Aid and covers injuries, sudden illnesses, environmental emergencies, and more!

eLEARNING COURSES WE OFFER
Course Overview for BLENDED LEARNING (eLearning!):
This course is becoming a popular option for those that want to spend less time in the classroom. This is a two step process.
​
Step 1: Complete the ONLINE course. This course is self-paced and you my start and stop as you need to. The online portion takes 1.5-2 hours to complete and can be accessed 24/7. CLICK HERE to start this option (you will be redirected to onlineaha.org to begin this portion, additional fees may apply). Keep the online completion certificate from the e-learning course.

Step 2: Schedule a skills evaluation session with PTS. You will be required to email us the printed course completion certification prior to the course. *You may schedule a skills session this PRIOR to completing the online portion.
​
Step 3: Attend a practical skills evaluation. Participants MUST complete the online portion PRIOR to attending the skills evaluation with a qualified instructor (a printed certification must be presented to your instructor). The session takes about 20-30 minutes. You will demonstrate the skills for 1 and 2 rescuer CPR/AED, and a full understanding of your responsibility of your role while performing CPR.

Upon successful completion of online class and skills demonstration, students receive a card valid for two years. [The card is issued per the curriculum chosen].

Overview for NEW & RENEWAL:
We offer BOTH American Red Cross AND American Heart Association Bloodborne Pathogens courses. This course is intended to provide quality training to meet OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standards. This course will teach employees how pathogens are spread, how to prevent exposure incidents, use of engineering controls, practicing good personal hygiene, proper cleaning of equipment and supplies, and how to recognize, report and follow up with exposure incidents.

This course addresses Washington State requirements for licensed and non-licensed healthcare professionals required to complete HIV/AIDS Education & Awareness Training. The course covers six required components: HIV etiology and epidemiology, transmission precautions and infection control, testing and treatment, legal and ethical issues, and psycho-social issues.
